Worldwide content producer and distributor, Portfolio Entertainment is adding a dose of creative brain power to its distribution catalogue with its acquisition of the CBC Kids-commissioned animated mystery-adventure series, Addison, from Executive Producer Charles Bishop of Halifax’s Six Eleven Media.
A STEM-centric series targeting kids aged 4-6, Addison follows the seven-year-old title character, a female inventor who loves to solve mysteries! Together, Addison and her diverse group of friends use imaginative inventions, reasoning and enthusiasm to figure out what’s behind the latest neighbourhood conundrum.
Portfolio has acquired the worldwide rights to the series outside of Canada, with season one of the series (20 x 11’) currently available and season two (30 x 11’) beginning production in early 2018.
